It's always scary to have someone come out to do anything in the house bc you never know who to trust. Well Mike took that fear away immediately. Knew what he was doing and super nice. Ended up spending more than the $69 we thought for a tune up but overall we're happy

I installed a Five Star 95% 40,000 BTU Gas Furnace 2.5T 17.5. I cycled and monitored the system and it is operational at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on a Trane AC unit. I found the compressor not coming on due to a dead cap. The cap reading is 0.8/4. I replaced both caps. I washed the condenser due to it being completely clogged. I checked the coolant levels and they were good. The system is operational at this time.
I went to the customer's home to perform a service call on a Carrier AC unit. I found the blower speeds set to high and the filter dirty. I replaced the filter and added some coolant. 1 register closest to thermostat was partially closed. The thermostat is reading 2 degrees higher then the actual temperature. I recommended getting a new thermostat to see if that helps.
I completed a diagnostic on a Trane AC unit. I found the capacitor was bad and burnt wires. I repaired the burnt wires and cramped on a few new connectors that were corroded and probably close to breaking off. I cycled the system and everything is now running as it should.
I gave an estimate to install a Carrier "Infinity Series" 19 SEER Variable-Speed 3 Ton Air Conditioner and a Carrier "Infinity Series" 96% Variable Speed Two-Stage 80,000 BTU Gas Furnace. I included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.
Scheduled maintenance cooling tune up on a Gibson air conditioner completed. I visually inspected the furnace. Checked voltage and amps. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating at this time, but not within spec. Gave customer options.
I completed a diagnostic on a Bryant air conditioning unit. I found the blower cap reading low, compressor over amping, low on refrigerant and has a leak, and contactor is pitted. The customer decided to have us replace the unit.
